Ann is a former chemical engineer and waste management consultant, motivated by wanting to find solutions to pollution, and has further qualifications in nutritional medicine. She cares deeply about our social condition and the state of our natural and built environments, all of which are compromised by neglect, degradation, pollution, toxic chemicals, lack of "Ubuntu" - compassion and humanity towards others. She does permaculture gardening and is active in her local community to facilitate more interaction between people to help support their resilience and well being.

Garry Kerans
Project manager

Garry Kerans relishes finding practical, optimised solutions to urban challenges. He has built and renovated over a hundred homes and project managed construction of apartment complexes. His business, Integrated EcoVillages Pty Ltd, won numerous international and national awards for his urban- and rural wastewater treatment and recycling systems. Inspired by his wife, Stina’s, passion to create a housing system that empowers people to thrive, not just survive, he continues to build and develop property in various locations as well as growing food the permaculture way on a small acreage farm.

Amanda has always been interested in social justice and equity for all. She believes in transparent solutions for Australia's housing crises and was attracted to the Sun Villages model as it provides a vehicle for everyday Australians to invest in, without the monetary bleeding of property developers and banks. She has a background in print, graphic design, brand- and systems management. You can also see Amanda on the stages of comedy clubs as she has been a pro comedian for 14 years.
