The start of the vegie garden at Queanbeyan
The topsoil from the construction site is being taken to the safety of the site's 'heart', where a future resident, Carolyn, has begun creating the garden – see her photo below. Anyone wishing to join her on Wednesday afternoons is most welcome.
Work party, lunch, LETS trading
For two hours on Sunday mornings (10-12), there will be onsite work parties exchangeable for LETS units. (For SV shareholders – we hope these units may end up being exchangeable for shares!) For non-shareholders, we hope the LETS trading will provide some value to you as the marketplace becomes larger.
The morning work parties will be followed by a shared lunch (bring something for the BBQ) and this is a good opportunity to do LETS trading.
You don't have to come to the work party to share lunch and the LETS talk
A shared lunch and trading is a great opportunity to introduce new people to LETS. After lunch, we will have an informal meeting about LETS for those wanting to know more.
